How do I use Academy to progress monitor my student?
Academy of READING® and Academy of MATH® do not have formal progress monitoring tools built into the reporting system. However, you can use the Weekly Progress Report, found under the Reports tab, to monitor student time on task vs. time in the program each week. Please note that the Weekly Progress Report will only hold data for a two week period of time. If you would like to monitor student progress using this report, we recommend that you save this report to your computer each week. This will allow for you to have longitudinal data for the entire implementation time frame.
An
other way to monitor student progress is to compare their individual student progress “overall percent complete” versus the TE21 provided weekly pacing goals spreadsheet. This report will provide you with weekly “goals” for student/class progress throughout the year. Monitoring and tracking this data will help you ensure that your students are on track to complete their Academy ITP (Individualized Training Program) in the intended timeframe for your implementation. TE21 also represents a program called Path Driver for READING and MATH. These programs are more formalized Universal Screening and Progress Monitoring tools that are sold separately from Academy. These programs will reside in the same Management System but will provide schoolwide data on how your students are performing against national and local norms. Please contact your TE21 Implementation Specialist with additional questions or you can reach out to our Director of Training, Emily Duplantis 843-834-2290 or emilyduplantis@te21.com.
