Academy of MATH students at St. Mark Elementary School who had met their goal for number of skills mastered in the program were rewarded with a hot dog party.
Shamyar Snow (left) and Jasmine James (right) celebrate their success on the Academy of MATH! These two 3rd grade students have been going to the Academy lab during their recess time, at their request, to work on the programs! Both students have already completed 30% of their assigned training stream of skills, surpassing their set goals for completion!
Ms. Mable Mazyck and Ms. Teresa Dorn, Academy teachers at St. Mark, have set both daily and weekly goals with their students, and the students have stepped up to the challenge! The Academy of MATH classes have already met their week ending goal for percent complete and the Academy of READING classes have exceeded their weekly percent complete goal!
The principal, Ms. Rumell Taylor, recognizes the outstanding effort and accomplishments of these Academy students by announcing the students’ success during daily announcements to the entire school!
