EPS Offers RTI Grants
EPS/School Specialty’s Literacy and Intervention division has a new grant program to assist school districts in the development and improvement of their Response to Intervention (RTI) programs. Districts can receive up to 35 percent of the program cost to support the purchase of EPS RTI solutions if they are selected.
As part of the competitive process for the grant program, school districts must submit a proposal that provides a detailed description of their planned or current RTI initiatives, a compelling statement of need for more RTI instructional resources, an implementation timeline, and evaluation plan.
RTI experts will review each district’s approach to reading and/or math intervention and selected applicants will receive a face-to-face review and discussion of their intervention program, an in-depth analysis of their approach with recommendations for improvement, certain program support costs, and access to an array of proven intervention programs and products.
EPS/School Specialty offers the Academy of Reading and Academy of Math online intervention solutions that have proven to be effective by a gold-standard for research set out by the U.S. Department of Education “What Works Clearinghouse.” TE21 represents the Academy in Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia.
